Snowflakes are known to be the most popular winter, Christmas and New Year symbols, it is hard to believe in snow if you are in California now but if you draw snowflakes on your nails this will be easier a bit.

This nail design for short nails is created for beginners, you need just some patient and time to make it yourself.

Follow our step by step lesson:

You need
*1 varnish:
1 ' blue for background,

*1 color acrylic paint:
1 ' white for snowflakes

*Top coat
*Thin brush

Do this nail design by one complete step for all fingers, for example polish all nails with background, then draw snowflakes for all nails. Such method will economize your time, your images will be similar and the same style, your acrylic paints will not dry before your finish.

Some words about using acrylic paints: squeeze some paint on the palette (you can use a peace of some plastic), than add a bit of water. You can dilute acrylic paints with water, but a bit, it will help to draw in convenient way, and prevents them from fast drying. As soon as your acrylic paints have dried, it is impossible to thin them again. Clean your brash in the cup of water every time after using the new color.

1) Use nail polish remover to prepare the nails, it will degrease them and allow polish to be much longer on your nails. This rule is for natural and for artificial nails as well.

2) Apply blue varnish as a background.

3) Draw snowflakes using white acrylic paint (see the step by step instruction on photos).

4) Let nails dry for 2-3 minutes.

5) Cover with top coat.
