This nail art is for advanced nail artist, but if you are just beginner do not despair. Thanks to the step by step pictures you’ll create this design without problems. It is a freehand drawing technique using acrylic paints. Try to paint some lines with thin brush before starting.
We are sure you’ll cope with a task. This nail art design is good for the long natural and artificial nails as well. Play with colors and do not forget to post your variations!
You need
*2 varnishes:
1 – silver for background,
2 – gold for outline,
*2 color acrylic paints:
1 – black for lines,
2 – red for rhombus,
*Thin brush
*Top coat
Do this nail design by one complete step for all fingers, for example polish all nails with background, than draw rhombus and lines on all nails, than paint over with red color. Use one color for all nails, than another. Such method will economize your time, your images will be similar and the same style, your acrylic paints will not dry before your finish.
Some words about using acrylic paints: squeeze some paint on the palette (you may use a peace of some plastic), than add a bit of water. You may dilute acrylic paints with water, but a bit, it will help to draw in convenient way, and prevents them from fast drying. As soon as your acrylic paints have dried, it is impossible to thin them again. Clean your brash in the cup of water every time after using the new color.
1) Use nail polish remover to prepare the nails, it will degrease them and allow polish to be much longer on your nails. This rule is for natural and for artificial nails as well.
2) Apply silver varnish as a background.
3) Draw black lines to create rhombus and lines as shown on the picture. Draw using black acrylic paint and thin brush. Clean your brush in the cup of water.
4) Paint over the rhombus with red acrylic paint using thin brush. Clean your brush in the cup of water.
5) Outline your black lines and red rhombus with gold varnish. Golden color will accent the red and make chic.
6) Let nails dry for 2-3 minutes.
7) Cover with top coat.
