You need
*2 varnishes:
1 – blue for background,
2 - gold glitter
*4 colors acrylic paints:
1 - blue for feather outline
2 - yellow for feather yellow middle
3 - red for feather center
4 - white for lines
*Top coat
*Thin brush
Do this nail design by one complete step for all fingers, for example polish all nails with background, then draw blue feather outline and yellow middles for all nails, next draw red centres and white lines as well. This method will economize your time, your images will be similar and the same style, your acrylic paints will not dry before your finish.
Some words about using acrylic paints: squeeze some paint on the palette (you can use a peace of some plastic), than add a bit of water. You can dilute acrylic paints with water, but a bit, it will help to draw in convenient way, and prevents them from fast drying. As soon as your acrylic paints have dried, it is impossible to thin them again. Clean your brush in the cup of water every time after using the new color.
1) Use nail polish remover to prepare the nails, it degreases them and allows polish to be mach longer on your nails. This rule is for natural and for artificial nails as well.
2) Apply blue varnish as a background.
3) Draw blue feather outlines, then yellow middles and red centres using acrylic paints, see the photos.
4) Using white acrylic paint draw lines between feathers.
5) Add some touches of gold glitter.
6) Let nails dry for 2-3 minutes.
7) Finish with top coat.
