Fluorine makes your teeth stronger, stimulates hematosis, reparative processes when bones break, immunity reactions, participates in skeleton growth, prevents from senile osteoporosis.
Daily fluorine requirements are 2-3 mg/per day. It is collected in bones and teeth. Food contains very little fluorine, with the exception of sea fish (700 mkg%) and tea (76mg%). When you make tea 2/3 fluorine goes into solution, as a result a cup of tea contains 0,1 – 0,2 mg fluorine. Fluorine can be found in some plants as well.
Lack of fluorine causes caries, disorder of growth and mineralization. Excess of fluorine causes fluorosis.
